William J. Galluppi, 79 YOUNGSTOWN – A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday at 10 a.m. at Christ the Good Shepherd Parish at St. Joseph the Provider Catholic Church for William J. Galluppi, 79, who passed away Sunday evening. William was born Jan. 23, 1937, in Youngstown, the son of William and Ann Tondi Galluppi. Following his graduation in 1955 from North High School, William joined the U.S. Air Force and was stationed in Japan for four years. He worked as a mechanic for the U.S. Postal Service for 20 years. William was a member of Christ the Good Shepherd Parish at St. Joseph the Provider Catholic Church. William leaves to cherish his memories, his wife, the former Donna J. McCabe, whom he married Nov. 23, 1961, and his daughter, Deborah J. Champney of Warren. He was preceded in death by his parents; his sister and brother-in-law, Joan and Carmen Veneroso; and his mother and father-in-law, Matt and Agnes McCabe. The Galluppi family has entrusted their loved one to the care of the Wasko Funeral Home and will receive family and friends Saturday morning from 9 to        10 a.m., at the church. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Hospice House in Williams' name.
