William C. Balch, 80
Campbell…………Funeral services will be held 1:00pm Friday at the Wasko Funeral Home with Pastor Skip Linebaugh officiating for, William C. Balch, 80,who passed away Monday evening in St. Elizabeth Health Center.
William was born May 16, 1933 in Port Orchard, Washington, the son of Floyd D. and Gertrude Eggleston Balch.
He was a 1951 graduate of Sumner High School in Seattle, and a 1965 graduate of Seattle University where he obtained a Bachelor of Commercial Science Degree with a Minor in Philosophy.
He served his country in the U.S. Army in the Korean War.
His wife, the former Sandra Larson, whom he married on June 21, 1963, passed away on July 9, 2012.
He leaves to cherish his memory three children, Charlyn (Wade) Stankich of St. Petersburg, Fla., Dennis (Michelle) Balch and Daniel Balch both Campbell; and five grandchildren, Kristopher, Amanda, Briana, Cameron and Makayla.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife Sandra; a sister, Ethel Carter; and a granddaughter Camie.
In lieu of flowers and should friends desire, monetary donations can be made to the funeral home to help defray funeral expenses.
The Balch family has entrusted their loved one to the care of the Wasko Funeral Home and will receive friends on Friday from 12:00 to 1:00pm.
