Thelma V. Caggiano, 87 Poland…….. Thelma V. Caggiano, 87, formerly of Campbell, passed away Wednesday afternoon in Shepherd of the Valley Nursing Home, Thelma was born Nov. 10, 1926 in Youngstown, the daughter of, James and Clara Martin Wagus. She was a 1944 graduate of South High School and was a bookkeeper for Poland Concrete. Her husband, Nurmi Caggiano whom she married Aug. 25, 1960, passed away Nov. 30, 1987. She leaves to cherish her memory, three daughters, Diana (Ed) Knuff of Rancho Cucumonga, CA., Josephine "Duchess" Novak of Spring Hill, Fla. and Nancy (Tom) Abeid of Campbell; one daughter-in-law, Sheila Caggiano of Port Richey, Fla.; 12 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Nurmi; and a son, Nurmi Jr. Thelma's family requests monetary donations be made to the Humane Society in her name. The Caggiano family has entrusted their loved one to the care of the Wasko Funeral Home and will receive friends Sunday from 4-6pm, where a prayer service will be held at 6pm.
