Sylvia Marie
(Angelo) Manack
Apr 11, 1945 — Apr 11, 1945
LOWELLVILLE – Funeral services will be held Monday at 9:30 a.m. at the Wasko Funeral Home, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at Christ the Good Shepherd Parish at St. Lucy Catholic Church, for Sylvia Marie (Angelo) Manack, 71, who passed away Thursday morning at the Cleveland Clinic, with her family by her side, awaiting a liver transplant. Sylvia was born April 11, 1945, in Youngstown, the daughter of Charles and Margaret (Adduch) Angelo. She was a member of St. Lucy Catholic Church. Sylvia enjoyed outdoor activities such as camping, boating, and fishing. She especially enjoyed traveling and loved the two cruises she and her husband went on in 2006 and 2012 to Jamaica and Aruba. Sylvia leaves to cherish her memory, her husband, Nicholas Manack Jr., whom she married Sept. 9, 1967, and together, they had two sons, Kevin (Phyllis) Manack of Poland and Christopher Manack of Campbell. The absolute joy of her life was her grandson, Nicholas. Sylvia also leaves her sister, Delores (John) Paurich of Austintown. Sylvia was preceded in death by her parents; her twin sister, Thelma Vargo; and her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Nicholas Sr., and Lucy Manack. The Manack family has entrusted their loved one to the care of the Wasko Funeral Home and will receive family and friends on Sunday from 2 to 5 p.m. at the funeral home. Her final resting place will be at St. John Catholic Cemetery in Coitsville.
