Struthers: Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. at St. Nicholas Byzantine Catholic Church with Father Nicholas Kraynak officiating for Susan K. Drapp, 83, who passed away peacefully Friday afternoon with her family by her side. Susan was born Feb. 11, 1929, in Youngstown, the daughter of Stephen and Susan Goske Kotasek. She was a 1949 graduate of Woodrow Wilson High School. She was a homemaker. Susan was an active member of St. Nicholas Byzantine Catholic Church, where she loved making pierogies and working at church bingo events. She loved listening and dancing to polka music. Susan enjoyed traveling to various casinos and she was an excellent cook. Susan, most of all, loved being a wife, mom and grandma and leaves to cherish her memory, a daughter, Diane M. Drapp, with whom she made her home; a son, Stephen Jr. (Vicki) Drapp of Lancaster; two granddaughters, Emily Elizabeth and Stephanie Nicole Drapp of Lancaster; three brothers, Frank (Norene) Kotasek of Campbell, Gerald (Judy) Kotasek of Troy, Mich. and Charles Kotasek of Florida; and a sister, Patricia of Arizona. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Stephen Drapp Sr. whom she married July 11, 1953, and who passed away Jan. 10, 2010; an infant grandson, Nicholas; four brothers, Lawrence, Thomas, Stephen and Raymond Kotasek; and three sisters, Margaret Kotasek, Regina Horvath and Florence Kotasek. The Drapp family has entrusted their loved one to the care of the Wasko Funeral Home and will receive friends Tuesday morning at the church from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m.
