Stefanos (Steve) Roulakis, 86
Campbell…Funeral services will be held Saturday at 1:30 p.m. at Archangel Michael Greek Orthodox Church with Father Steve Denas officiating, for Stefanos (Steve) Roulakis, 86, who passed away Monday evening at home.
Steve was born January 17, 1927 in Oinoussai Greece, the son of Nikolaos and Virginia Psilos Roulakis.
He served in the Greek Army and Merchant Marine prior to coming to the US in 1953.
Steve retired from Industrial Painting in 1989 then went on to work for Morakis and Sons and Joseph Painting.
He was a member of Archangel Michael Greek Orthodox Church.
Steve was a member of Local 476 Painters Union.
He was a family man, loved good food; was an excellent dancer and a meticulous gardener.
Steve leaves to cherish his memories, his wife, the former Irene Patzakis, whom he married on April 25, 1954; his children, Cleo (Fabian) Roulakis of Campbell, Dr. Nick Roulakis of California and Virginia (Roger) Faubel of Canfield; his grandchildren, Amalia Kostantas of Campbell, Andreanna (Sandro) Kostantas-Ducceschi of Switzerland, Kathleen Fabian of Campbell, Stefanos (Christiana) Roulakis of Washington, DC, Ereeni Roulakis and Eleni Roulakis, both of New Orleans, Nikki Tacsik of Poland; and great grandchildren, Alex, Daniel, Steven and Isabella.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his siblings, Sideris Roulakis, Stamatia Stouriatou and Maria Zafiratou.
The Roulakis family has entrusted their loved one to the care of the Wasko Funeral Home and will receive friends Saturday from 11:30 – 1:30 p.m. at Archangel Michael Greek Orthodox Church.
