Hubbard…Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. at the Wasko Funeral Home, with Father Andrew Nelko officiating, for Stella (Stephania) Graban, 94, formerly of Campbell, who passed away Sunday morning. Stella was born September 25, 1918, in Youngstown, the daughter of Stephenes (Steve) and Anna Zarowska Kurtiak. She attended the Rayen School of Youngstown and was a lifelong area resident. Stella was a member of St. John the Baptist Orthodox Church. Besides being a servant of God, Stella was a devoted daughter who cared for her parents until their death and a loving mother and grandmother who adored and enjoyed her family. Stella leaves to cherish her memory her two sons, Michael (Elaine) Graban of Hubbard, with whom she made her home and Paul (Vivian) Graban of New Jersey; her daughter, Stephanie (Bruce) Rayner of Columbus; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Her husband, Michael Graban, whom she married in 1949, passed away in 1967. Besides her parents and husband, Stella was preceded in death by two brothers, John and Joseph Kurtiak and three sisters, Mary Kurtiak, Olga Smoliga and Anne Kramer. The Graban family has entrusted their loved one to the care of the Wasko Funeral Home and will receive friends Wednesday morning 10-11:00 a.m. Should friends desire, monetary donations can be made to St. John the Baptist Orthodox Church in Stella's memory.
