Stella Chojnacki, 88 Campbell…Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. at the Wasko Funeral Home, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. at Christ the Good Shepherd Parish at St. Joseph the Provider Catholic Church, for Stella Chojnacki, 88, who passed away Thursday evening. Stella was born March 5, 1925, in Poland (Europe), the daughter of Stanley and Maria Nalepa. She was a member of Christ the Good Shepherd Parish at St. Joseph the Provider Catholic Church. Stella loved to play bingo and tend to her garden. She also liked to knit and crochet and made many afgans for family and friends. She leaves to cherish her memories, her children, who were all born in Poland and came to the United States and Campbell in 1963, Helen Stork, of Lincoln, Nebraska, Ted Chojnacki of Campbell, Marcella (John) Edison of Youngstown, Mary Criswell of Jacksonville, Florida, and Edmund Chojnacki of Campbell; her four grandchildren, Jason, Ryan, Eric (Nicci) and Lori (fiancé John Travis); her three great-grandchildren, JR, Brody, and William and a former daughter-in-law Gloria Chojnacki. Her husband, Matthew Chojnacki, whom she married April 26, 1946, passed away August 27, 1976. Besides her husband, Matthew, she was preceded in death by her parents and an infant son, Ludwick. The Chojnacki family has entrusted their loved one to the care of the Wasko Funeral Home and will receive friends Monday from 5-8:00 p.m.
