Campbell…Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 12:00 noon at Archangel Michael Greek Orthodox Church, celebrated by Metropolitan Nicholas of Detroit and con-celebrated by Father Steve Denas and Father Pete Maillis, for Stanley N. Frangopoulos, 85, who passed away Wednesday afternoon. Stanley was born September 2, 1927, in Kalymnos, Greece, the son of Nicholas and Keriaki Papadonakis Frangopoulos. He served in World War II as a member of the Greek Navy. He was co-owner of Atlas Painting and Sheeting Corporation for 33 years. Stanley was a member of Archangel Michael Greek Orthodox Church and a member of the Kalymian Society. Stanley was proud of his Greek heritage and traveled annually for 30 years to his hometown of Kalymnos in Greece. Stanley leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, the former Anna Speridakis, whom he married July 23, 1949; his children, Keri (Stanley) Monokandilis of Tarpon Springs, Florida, Nicholas (Mary) Frangopoulos of Campbell, Angie Elenis of Campbell, Dr. Michael (Becky) Frangopoulos of Poland, Despina (Skevos) Zembillas of Campbell, and Deno Frangopoulos of Campbell; 17 grandchildren and 7 great-great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Panormitis Frangopoulos; and a sister, Sevasti Tsemelis. The Frangopoulos Family has entrusted their loved one to the care of the Wasko Funeral Home and will receive friends Tuesday from 5-8:00 p.m. at Archangel Michael Greek Orthodox Church in Campbell, where a service will be held at 7:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the Frangopoulos Family requests donations be made in Stanley's name to the Archangel Michael Greek Orthodox Church Brick Drive Fund.
