Obituary

Youngstown: Funeral services will be held Thursday at 11:00 a.m. at the Wasko Funeral Home for Roy R. Raseta, Jr. who passed away Monday morning at the Hospice House. Roy was born March 6, 1932 in Campbell, the son of Roy and Mary Mazur Raseta. He was a 1950 graduate of Campbell Memorial High School. Following his high school graduation Roy joined the Air Force. He was a dental technician. Roy spent over 20 years in the Tampa, Florida area before moving back to this area in the late 1990?¢s. He leaves to cherish his memory a brother, Steve (Sandra) of Youngstown; three sisters Mildred Metzka, Dorothy (Pete) Hrelec and Katherine Bakos all of Campbell; and many nieces and nephews whom he loved dearly. He also leaves two stepdaughters, Donna Comstock and Judy Mariampetri; and a stepson James Hassel. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, the former Marjorie Hopkins whom he married August 19, 1965 and who passed away June 22, 2001; a brother, George; a sister, Melva and a stepson, Charles Hassel. The Raseta family requests monetary contributions be made to the Hospice House in Roy?¢s name. The Raseta family has entrusted their loved one to the care of the Wasko Funeral home and will receive friends Wednesday from 7-9:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
