Obituary

Rose M. Yaniglos, 86 Campbell…A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Sorrows Parish at Sts. Cyril and Methodius Church, officiated by Father Martin Celuch, for Rose M. Yaniglos, 86, of Campbell, who passed away Friday morning. Rose was born on March 12, 1928 in Youngstown the daughter of Martin and Anna Krayach Yaniglos and was a lifelong area resident. Rose worked as a finisher for General Electric retiring after over 30 years of service. She was a 1947 graduate of Campbell Memorial High School. She was a lifelong member of St. Cyril and Methodious in which she received all of her sacraments. She was also a member of the Jednota and the First Catholic Slovak Union. Rose enjoyed gardening and loved tending to her flowers. She also loved to travel, listening to polkas, and enjoyed photography. She leaves to cherish her memory her sister and brother in law; Betty and Joseph C. Tomko of Campbell; nephews and nieces; Carl and Anne Tomko of Tarpon Springs Florida, Barbara and Charles Houck of Youngstown, Thomas M. Tomko of Lowellville, and Theodore M. Tomko of Columbus; and many other nieces and nephews. Besides her parents Rose was preceded in death by her sisters Stella Klaiban and Helen Yaniglos, and brothers John, Martin, and Mike Yaniglos, and Julius Krayach. The family requests monetary contributions be made in Rose's name to Tridia Hospice, 4680 Douglas Circle Northwest, Canton, Ohio 44718. The Yaniglos family has entrusted their loved one to the care of the Wasko Funeral Home and will receive family and friends Monday morning from 9-10:00 a.m. at the Church.
