Rose F. Pavlic, 97 CAMPBELL - Funeral services will be held Monday at 10 a.m. at the Wasko Funeral Home, followed by a Mass Of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. at the Holy Apostle Parish at Sts. Peter and Paul Croatian Roman Catholic Church, officiated by Rev. Joseph Rudjak, for Rose F. Pavlic, 97, who passed away Wednesday morning at Park Vista surrounded by her family. Rose was born Aug. 1, 1917, in Kalamazoo, Mich., the daughter of Matthew and Louise Belobradic Mihelcic. She was a lifelong resident of Campbell until moving to Park Vista seven years ago. Rose was a member of the Holy Apostles Parish at Sts. Peter and Paul Croatian Roman Catholic Church and an active participant in the Daughters of Sts. Peter and Paul. She was a member of the Campbell Senior Citizens and the 1418 Retired Steel Workers. Most of all, Rose was a loving mother and grandmother, who dedicated her life to raising and caring for her family. Rose leaves to cherish her memories, her children, Jessica (Frank) Hassay of Liberty, John (Georgenne) Pavlic of Poland, Raymond (Angela) Pavlic of Austin, Texas and Rosemarie (Dan) McLaughlin of Poland; her grandchildren, Jeff Hassay, Cheryl Kramer, John and Gary Pavlic, Diane Zentko, Ashley Buster, Danielle Philips, Kelly McLaughlin and David McLaughlin; great-grandchildren, Jake and Mackenzie Kramer, Jack Pavlic, Gina and Michael Zentko, Abigail Buster, Ben Philips and Logan Webb; and her sister, Louise Dubyak of Campbell. Her husband, John, whom she married Nov. 29, 1941, and with whom she enjoyed 59 wonderful years of marriage, passed away Nov. 11, 2000. Besides her husband, John, Rose was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Matt Mihelcic; and her sisters, Mary Wolk and Amy Shindler. Rose's family would like to thank the nurses and aides from the 3rd floor, the Activities Staff and all of the other staff of Park Vista for the kindness, compassion, and care they provided Rose over the past seven years. The Pavlic family has entrusted their loved one to the care of the Wasko Funeral Home and will receive family and friends Sunday from 1 to 4 p.m. at the funeral home.
