Struthers: A Memorial Service will be held Saturday April 30th at 10:00am in St. Lucy Catholic Church in Campbell, with Father Gerald DeLucia officiating for Roberta M. (Shanovich) Stahura, 48 who passed away Thursday morning. Roberta was born February 2, 1963 in Youngstown the daughter of Robert J. and Nicolina Cutrone Shanovich. She was a 1981 graduate of Campbell Memorial High School where she was a majorette. Roberta worked for General Electric for 12 �½ years until she became ill in 2006. She was a member of the church and was devoted to the St. Anthony Novena at the church. Her husband James Stahura whom she married in 2003 passed away Jan. 26, 2008. She leaves to cherish her memory her father and step-mother Robert and Nancy Shanovich of Warren; one sister Marie (David) Laurie of Austintown; a step-daughter Amy Stahura of West Virginia; a step-son Mark Stahura of Struthers; one aunt Amy Parcher of Youngstown; many nieces, nephews and great-nieces and one great-nephew. She was preceded in death by her mother; a sister Darlene Sinkovich; her grandparents and aunts and uncles. In lieu of flowers the family requests that monetary donations be made to help defray funeral expenses. The Shanovich Stahura family has entrusted the arrangements of their loved one to the care of the Wasko Funeral Home in Campbell.
