Obituary

Campbell: Funeral services will be held at 11am Friday, at the Wasko Funeral Home with Fr. John Trimbur officiating for Robert J. Waring, Jr. 21 who passed away early Sunday morning. Rob was born July 12, 1990 in Youngstown, the son of Rob Waring and Eileen Spencer Waring and was a life long area resident. He was a 2009 graduate of Campbell Memorial High School. Upon graduation Rob enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps having climbed to the rank of Lance Corporal. Rob recently returned home, after serving his country for two years, to continue his education at Youngstown State University studying Psychology. He enjoyed working out, listening to music, riding his motorcycle, spending time with and having a good time with his family and friends; he was also an avid gun collector and was very ambitious. He was active in sports having played for the Campbell Little League, Campbell Little Saints and the Campbell Memorial High School Red Devils. Rob will be greatly missed and his memory forever cherished by his mother Eileen Spencer Waring of Campbell; his father Rob Waring of Florida; brother and sister Dennis and Giana at home; brother Tyler of Florida; maternal grandparents Ted and Jennie Spencer of Campbell; paternal grandparents John (Diana) Waring of Campbell; paternal grandmother Debbie (Tom) Apicerno of Florida; uncles and aunts John (Shauna) Spencer, Chad (Stella) Spencer, Jeremy (Lisa) Spencer, Heather Waring, Chrissy (George) Tunison and Karri (Monty) Cleland; cousins Krista, T.J., Alayna, Ben, Ian, Mackenzie, Gabriella, Victoria, Savannah and Emily and his beloved dog Baylee. He was preceded in death by his great-grandfathers John Spencer and Stefano Yacovone and great-grandmother Lucia Yacovone. Rob was an awesome friend, brother and son. Through his family and friends his memory will live on. Rob may be gone, but will continue to be an inspiration for all who knew and loved him. The Spencer-Waring family has entrusted their loved one to the care of the Wasko Funeral Home and will receive friends on Thursday from 4-8pm.
