YOUNGSTOWN- Memorial calling hours will be held from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Friday, August 31, 2018 at the Kubina Yuhasz Wasko Funeral Home, followed by a short prayer service and military honors starting at 7:00 PM for Richard E. Sanderbeck, 79, who passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family.

Richard was born June 8, 1939 in East Palestine, a son of the late John and Ruth (Clark) Sanderbeck. He was a 1957 graduate of Woodrow Wilson High School and was a member of the United States Marine Corp Reserves. He worked as a quality control inspector until his retirement..

Richard enjoyed spending time at the lake with his family. He especially loved boating and fishing.

He leaves behind to cherish his memories, his beloved wife, the former Norma Tekach, whom he married October 31, 1961, his children, Richard P. Sanderbeck of Rose Hill, KS, Theresa (Jeff) Barone of Canfield, Michelle (Harry) Blangero of Boardman, and Jason (Alisha) Sanderbeck of North Benton, his grandchildren, Ashley Sanderbeck, Jameson and Hailey McClellan, Tyler (Kim), Cody, Haley, and Alyssa Blangero, Haylee Campbell, Hannah and Emma Barone.

Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Jackie Sanderbeck.
