May 30, 1932 — May 30, 1932
Boardman…Funeral services will be held on Sunday at 3:00 p.m. at the Wasko Funeral Home, with Father Joseph Rudjak officiating, for Richard W. Quatro, 80, who passed away early Thursday morning. Richard was born May 30, 1932, in Campbell, the son of Tony and Mary Costarell Quatro. He was a 1950 graduate of Woodrow Wilson High School and was a lifelong area resident. He retired after 58 years of service from Mauro Construction, where he worked as a bricklayer. Richard was a member of Bricklayers Local 8 and Musicians Local 86. Richard was a member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church in Youngstown. He was an accordion player in the Joe Fedorchak Orchestra for over 40 years. Richard was an avid sports fan, especially his love for the Cleveland Browns. He enjoyed dancing, but music was his life. Richard leaves to cherish his memories, his son, Michael R. Quatro of Hubbard; his step-daughter, Deborah Lowry-Cunningham of Brookfield; a sister, Virginia Allen of Youngstown; and his former wife, Marilyn J. Quatro of Hubbard. He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Gerry Quatro. The Quatro family has entrusted their loved one to the care of the Wasko Funeral Home and will receive friends Sunday from 12-3:00 p.m.
