Ramiro A. Quirarte, 83 Campbell…A memorial service will be held Friday, November 14, 2014 at 6:00 p.m. at Christ the Good Shepherd Parish at Sta. Rosa de Lima Catholic Church, for Ramiro A. Quirarte, 83, who passed away Tuesday, November 4th. Ramiro was born December 30, 1930, in Matamoros Coahuila, Mexico the son of Barbarito and Cirila Alcocer Quirarte. He worked as an overhead Crane-man at Sharon Steel for 42 years, retiring in 1992. He was a member of Sta. Rosa de Lima Catholic Church, a member of OCCHA and the Elks Lodge of Farrell. Ramiro leaves to cherish his memory, his daughter, Elaina (Jay Fish) Quirarte of New Castle; a grandson, Andrae McElroy of New Castle; two sisters, Anita Quirarte and Ofelia Quirarte Inzauste of Mexico; many nieces and nephews; and his companion of nine years, Alexandria Ocevado of Campbell. His wife, the former Geraldine White, whom he was married to for 50 years, passed away December 24, 2000. The Quirarte family has entrusted their loved one to the care of the Wasko Funeral Home and will receive family and friends Friday, November 14th, from 5-6:00 p.m. at the Church.
