Obituary

Phillip T. Kapsulis, 71 Campbell…Funeral services will be held Saturday at 10:00 a.m. at the Archangel Michael Greek Orthodox Church with the Rev. Constantine Valentasis officiating for Phillip T. Kapsulis, 71, who passed away Tuesday evening at Hospice House. Phillip was born May 1, 1943, in Youngstown, the son of Themelis and Eudoxia Cambouris Kapsulis. He was a 1962 graduate of Campbell Memorial High School. Later, he graduated from New Castle School of Trades and became a welder. Phillip worked at the Campbell Water Works, managed City Limits and owned and operated many businesses in the area. He was a member of Archangel Michael Greek Orthodox Church. Phillip enjoyed and participated in many car shows throughout the area. He was known for building cars, especially a 1957 Chevy, a 1950 Ford, a 1953 Chevy and a 1932 Coupe. He leaves to cherish his memories, his daughters, Evelyn (Emmanuil) Klimis of Coitsville and Despina (Emanuel) Koullias of Campbell; his seven grandchildren, George, Phillip, Artemis, Tommy, Yianni, Nikita and Maria; his brother, George (Dulcie) Kapsulis of Youngstown; his sisters, Nancy (Taso) Efthimiou of Campbell and Jo-Ann (Nick) Triantafillou of Coitsville; many, many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends; and long-time companion, Janice Rosan of Campbell. Phillip was preceded in death by his parents. Phillip's family has entrusted their loved one to the care of the Wasko Funeral Home and will receive family and friends Friday evening from 5-8:00 p.m. at the funeral home, and again Saturday morning from 9-10:00 a.m. at the church.
