Pearl E. (Allen) McConnell, 86

Austintown……………..Funeral services will be held at 10am Thursday morning at the Wasko Funeral Home in Campbell with Pastor Rusty Wills officiating for, Pearl E. (Allen) McConnell, 86, who passed away Monday morning at Briarfield at Ashley Circle Nursing Home. Pearl was born May 10, 1930 in Youngstown the daughter of Walter C. and Minnie O. Anderson Allen. She was a secretary for the Youngstown City Schools, retiring in 1993. Her husband, Louis E. McConnell, Sr., whom she married March 13, 1948, passed away Nov. 21, 2013. Pearl leaves to cherish her memory, her children, Louis (Ed), Jr. (Katsuko) McConnell of Liberty, Elizabeth (Ron) Myers of Brookfield, Thomas ( former wife Lori) of Youngstown; her daughter-in-law, Kim McConnell of Youngstown; her grandchildren, Tom (Erika) McConnell, Dean McConnell, April McConnell, Sarah (Tim) Maxworthy, Jessica (James) Kashmer, Amanda McConnell, Michael McConnell, Jeff (April) Myers and Jennifer (Ed) Gursky; and ten great-grandchildren, Jarod, Gaven, Macy, Levi, Nathan, Makenna, Eddie, Leona, Liam and Sydney She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Louis; two sons, David and Charles McConnell; brothers, Harley, Thomas and Charles Allen; and sisters, Jane Whalen, Helen Donley, Ruth Slagle and Ella Hoagland. The McConnell family has entrusted their loved one to the care of the Wasko Funeral Home in Campbell and will receive family and friends on Wednesday evening from 5 to 7pm.
