Nadine Bednarik, 47 Campbell…Funeral services will be held Sunday at 1:30 p.m. at the Wasko Funeral Home, for Nadine Bednarik, 47, who passed away Tuesday evening in her home, surrounded by her loving family after a 17 year courageous battle with breast cancer. Nadine was born December 19, 1967, in Youngstown, the daughter of Patsy and Etta D'Elia Amicarelli. She was a 1985 graduate of Woodrow Wilson High School and later attended Youngstown State University. Nadine then went on to graduate from Northside Hospital School of Radiation. She worked as an X-ray technician for 26 years for UPMC Horizon Greenville Hospital. Nadine was a member of Christ the Good Shepherd Parish. She also served as the past –president of St. Joseph the Provider Home and School Association and was active in the Campbell Diamond Boys High School Baseball organization. Nadine leaves to cherish her memories her loving husband, Gary, whom she married September 26, 1992; and her sons Vincent and Nico, all of Campbell; her parents, Patsy and Etta Amicarelli of Ft. Myers; a sister, Corrina Amicarelli (Arianna and Tessa) of Punta Gorda FL; her mother-in-law, Geraldine Bednarik of Campbell; brothers and sisters-in-law, Ray and Donna Lopez (Carla and Ross) Michael Bednarik (Ryan and Joey), Glenn and Lynn Bednarik (Jennifer). She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Steve and Antoinette Amicarelli; and her father-in-law, Michael Bednarik. Nadine's family has entrusted their loved one to the care of the Wasko Funeral Home and will receive family and friends Saturday evening from 4-8:00 p.m. and again on Sunday from 12:30 – 1:30 p.m. at the funeral home, prior to the 1:30 funeral service.
