Michael A. Garchar, 63 Lowellville……..Funeral services will be held at 7pm Thursday at the Wasko Funeral Home in Campbell, with Fr. William Loveless officiating for, Michael A. Garchar 63, who passed away Sunday morning in his home. Mike was born Dec. 28, 1951 in Youngstown, the son of Andrew and Margaret Griscik Garchar. He was a 1970 graduate of Campbell Memorial High School, and worked for Thatcher Heating and Cooling Company as a HVAC Technician for the past 30 years. Mike enjoyed spending time in his garden and scrapping, but most of all he loved his kids and grandchildren and loved spending time with them. He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, the former Jane Doyle, whom he married Apr. 15, 1972, and they just celebrated their 43rd wedding anniversary; his mother, Margaret Garchar; children, Christopher Michael Garchar of Lowellville, Joseph Andrew (Lisa) Garchar of Pulaski, Pa. and Kelly Ann (Nathan) Grimes of Campbell; grandchildren, Joseph Michael Garchar, Kaylee Jean Garchar, Matthew David Garchar, Elliannah Mae Garchar, Abbagail Alexandria Grimes and Nathan Michael Grimes; brothers and sisters, Gary (Monet) Garchar of Campbell, CA, Charlotte Luc of Lowellville, Ron (Theresa) Garchar of New Springfield and Joseph (Eva) Garchar of Cincinnati. He was preceded in death by his father, Andrew; a sister, Andrea Garchar Coss; and a brother-in-law, John Luc. In lieu of flowers the family wishes that monetary donations be made to help defray funeral expenses. The Garchar family has entrusted their loved one to the care of the Wasko Funeral Home in Campbell and will receive family and friends Thursday evening from 3 to 7pm.
