Funeral services will be held Monday at 4:00 p.m. at St. Luke Catholic Church with Father Thomas Dyer officiating, for Melanie A. DeAngelo, 51, who passed away Friday evening. Melanie was born February 7, 1961, in Youngstown, the daughter of John A. and Mary Bires Shver. She was a 1979 graduate of Ursuline High School. She was an office clerk with Advanced Urology. Melanie was a member of St. Luke Parish in Boardman. Melanie enjoyed cooking and baking. Most recently, she spent her time caring for her mother, Mary, until her passing this past June. Melanie loved spending time with and caring for her children. She leaves to cherish her memory her children Chad (fiance, Alyssa Larkin) and Chelsea, both of Boardman. Melanie was preceded in death by her parents. The DeAngelo family has entrusted their loved one to the care of the Wasko Funeral Home and will receive friends Monday from 3-4:00 p.m. at St. Luke Catholic Church.
