Obituary

An hour of calling will be held from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM, followed immediately by a memorial mass at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, April 19, 2016 at St. Dominic Catholic Church, celebrated by Father Regis Herschel, for Maureen Bialik, 56, who entered into heaven on April 15, 2016.

Maureen was born February 11, 1960 in Youngstown, a daughter of John and Ellen Bialik. She was a graduate of Boardman High School. She worked at Republic Steel Company alongside her father in the blast furnace. She also lived in Arizona and California were she pursued dental assisting and stunt driving.

Maureen was a free spirit who lived her life out loud and boldly. She had quick wit and strong faith. She was immensely comforted by the unwavering assurance that God was in control of everything and that he held her hand as she traveled through the valley of the shadow of death. She loved spending summers at Lake Milton and her passions included a love of skiing, food, music, family and friends.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her Mom, Joyce Bialik, her siblings, Marlene (Coop), Monica (Ed), Johnny (Monica), and Chrissy (Shawn) Stevens; her nieces and nephew, Camille (Dave), Alicia (John), Emily, and John John. Maureen will be greatly missed by her loving aunts, uncles, cousins, great nieces, great nephews, and many dear friends.

Maureen is preceded in death by her Mother, Ellen, and her Father, John.

The family has entrusted the care of Maureen to the Kubina Yuhasz Wasko Funeral Home.
