Mary L. Fabrizio, 96 Campbell…Funeral services will be held Monday at 9:30 a.m. at the Wasko Funeral Home, followed by a Mass Of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. at St. Angela Merici Catholic Church, officiated by Rev. Kevin Peters, for Mary L. Fabrizio, 96, who passed away early Thursday morning. Mary was born August 8, 1918, in Youngstown, the daughter of Louis and Rosita Sposetti Nerone. She was a 1936 graduate of East High School. Mary was a Sales Manager in the Men's Department, located in the basement of Strouss' Department Store in downtown Youngstown for over 50 years. She was a member of the former Immaculate Conception Church in Youngstown. Mary also was a member of the Steel Valley Square Dancing Club and a member of the Westside Eagles Club. Mary enjoyed ballroom dancing and loved to dance with her husband, Dominic. They were both very respected and accomplished ballroom dancers. After her retirement, Mary and her husband moved to St. Petersburg Florida for 30 years, before returning back to Campbell. She leaves to cherish her memories, her husband, Dominic F. Fabrizio, whom she married when they eloped August 6, 1938. Later, they celebrated their marriage with a church ceremony on October 17, 1938; her daughter, Angeline (Peter) Koulianos of Campbell and son, Dominic R. (Kathy) Fabrizio of Campbell; her ten grandchildren, Lisa, Michael, Dominic L., John, Mary, Tony, Dominic P., Dominic R., Lauren and Michael C. and 22 great-grandchildren. Mary was preceded in death by her parents; her son, Frederic L. Fabrizio; six brothers, Marco, Anthony, Arthur, Joseph, John and Frederic; and a sister, Josephine Fermendiz. The Fabrizio family has entrusted their loved one to the care of the Wasko Funeral Home and will receive friends Sunday afternoon from 2-5:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
