Mary Jayne (Naples) Angelo, 81

Niles………Funeral services will be held at 12 Noon Tuesday, Sept. 6th  at the Wasko Funeral Home in Campbell, with Fr. Michael Swierz officiating for Mary Jayne Naples Angelo, 81, who passed away Wednesday, Aug. 31st. Jayne was born on November 9, 1934 in Niles, the daughter of Carmen and Josephine Ianuzzi Naples. She married the love of her life in 1955, Joseph Angelo, and they made their home in Campbell. Jayne went to cosmetology school and worked in downtown Youngstown as a cosmetologist after graduating. After having a baby girl in October of 1956, Jayne decided to be a stay-at-home mom. Jayne enjoyed raising her daughter, taking care of her husband, and being a homemaker for many years. Once her daughter entered school, Jayne decided to return to work at Federal Wholesale Company in Hubbard. Jayne worked there for many years until she retired in 1994. Jayne and her husband enjoyed retirement together until Joe unexpectedly passed away in September of 1995. Jayne was a wonderful cook and baker, and she shared that joy with others around her – she always said that her secret ingredient was making all of her food with love. She also enjoyed socializing with her wonderful network of friends and family in Ohio, as well as keeping in touch on her Ipad with her family and friends in California. Jayne is survived by a daughter, Carmel Angelo of Ukiah, California; a grandson, Zachariah Goodman; a great-grandson, Adam Joseph Goodman; and a granddaughter, Gina Goodman, all of San Diego, California. She also leaves two nieces, Joanne Sulenski of Austintown  and Valerie Stofac of Ventura, California; as well as a nephew, Tom Stofac of Columbus. Jayne also leaves other cherished family members and friends in Niles, Youngstown and Campbell. Jayne was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph, in 1995, her father, Carmen Naples, in 1987, her mother, Josephine Iannuzzi Naples, in 1999, and her sister, Marian Naples Stofac, in 2002. The Angelo family has entrusted their loved one to the care of the Wasko Funeral Home in Campbell where a prayer service will take place at 9:45am with calling hours immediately following from 10:00am to 12:00 pm. Immediately following the service, there will be a burial at St. John's Catholic Cemetery.
