Campbell: A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday at 11:00 a.m. at Christ the Good Shepherd Parish at St. John Catholic Church for Marion S. Salopek, 83, who passed away Monday evening in Dublin. Marion was born July 14, 1929 in Youngstown, the daughter of Andrew and Mary Mikita Krainock. She was a 1946 graduate of Ursuline High School. Mary worked as a store clerk at Kroger?¢s and retired after 35 years of service. She was a member of St. John Catholic Church and its?¢ Infant Jesus of Prague Guild. Her husband Frank J., whom she married May 14, 1949, passed away June 14, 1993. Mary leaves to cherish her memory her daughter Susan (Dale) Smith of Powell; her sister Nancy (Bob) Daniels of Venice, FL; and many special nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Frank, her brother Andrew J. Krainock and a sister-in-law, Angie Krainock. The Salopek family has entrusted their loved one to the care of the Wasko Funeral Home and will receive friends Friday from 10-11:00 a.m. at Church prior to the Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers and should friends desire, monetary donations can be made to Mount Carmel Hospice at 1144 Dublin Road, Columbus, OH 43215.
