COLUMBIANA - An hour of calling will be held from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM, followed immediately by a memorial mass at 10:00 AM on Monday, November 28, 2016 at Our Lady of Sorrows Parish at SS. Cyril and Methodius Church, celebrated by Father John Jerek, for Marilyn E. Dupay, 86, who entered into heaven on November 13, 2016 at St. Mary's Alzheimer's Center from complications from Alzheimer's disease. .

Marilyn was born August 3, 1930 in New York City, a daughter of the late Jack and Lillian (Black) Ward.

She enjoyed her work as a telephone operator in New York City in the late 1940's. She moved to Ohio for her husband's job at Youngstown Sheet & Tube.

Marilyn's hobbies included cleaning her home, bingo, shopping, playing the lottery, but most of all, spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

She leaves behind to cherish her memories, her daughters, Ann Marie C. Dupay and Deborah L. Dupay, and her son, Frank W. Dupay, Jr., six grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, and a sister, Patricia (Sinon) Considine and their family.

Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Frank W. Dupay, Sr., daughter, Laura J. Miner-Liptak, son, Steven J. Dupay, and a brother, John J. Ward.

The family has entrusted the care of Marilyn to the Kubina Yuhasz Wasko Funeral Home. Inurnment will take place at Calvary Cemetery.
