Marie Homyak, 91

Campbell…A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday at 11:00 a.m. at Christ the Good Shepherd Parish at St. Joseph the Provider Catholic Church for Marie Homyak, 91, who passed away Friday.

Marie was born July 6, 1924, in Campbell and was a lifelong area resident.

She was a homemaker and was a very loyal daughter and wife, having taken excellent care of her mom and husband, Pete during their time of need.

Marie was a former member of St. Elizabeth Catholic Church in Campbell and a current parishioner of Christ the Good Shepherd Parish at St. Joseph the Provider Catholic Church.

Her husband, Peter Homyak, whom she married December 13, 1943, passed away November 25, 2007.

Marie leaves to cherish her memories, her niece, Evelyn Fallos of Hellertown, Pa;  many other family members and friends and her neighbors and friends, whom she always welcomed for special visits on the front porch, Charlotte and Richard, Ed, Bella and Tammy and Jan.

Marie was preceded in death by her parents and her son, Robert Homyak, who passed away at the early age.

The Homyak family has entrusted their loved one to the care of the Wasko Funeral Home and will receive family and friends Monday morning from 10-11:00 a.m. in the church, prior to the 11:00 a.m. funeral mass.
