Marie E. Hawn, 90 Youngstown…Funeral services will be held Friday at 1:30 p.m. at the Wasko Funeral Home, with Father Michael Swierz officiating, for Marie E. Hawn, 90, who passed away Tuesday evening. Marie was born August 30, 1923, in Campbell, the daughter of Andrew and Eva Lebenac Cutic. She graduated from Campbell Memorial High School in 1941, and was a lifelong area resident. Marie was a former member of Holy Name Catholic Church. She loved to dance and especially enjoyed jitterbugging at the Idora Park Ballroom with her late husband, "Firdy". Marie leaves to cherish her memories, her four sons, Ronald A. (Karen) Hawn of Liberty, George S. Hawn of Youngstown, James M. (Gail) Hawn of Youngstown and Robert J. Hawn of Youngstown; her grandchildren, Jaimie L. (Jimmy) Himes, Lindsey M. Hawn, Kevin C. Hawn, and Shiela Fell; and two great-grandchildren, Paige G. Himes and Blake J. Himes. Her husband, George N. "Firdy" Hawn, whom she married in 1948, passed away in 1983. Besides her husband, "Firdy", Marie was preceded in death by her parents; and two brothers, Mike and Mickey Cutic. Marie's family has entrusted their loved one to the care of the Wasko Funeral Home and will receive family and friends Friday from 12:30 – 1:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
