Campbell---.Funeral services will be held 2pm Saturday in the Wasko Funeral Home with Fr. John Jerek officiating for Margareta L. ââ?¬Å?Peggy쳌 Stanfar, 87 who passed away Wednesday morning. Peggy was born May 6, 1923 in Chicago, Illinois the daughter of Theodore and Lenora Mapes Mellenthin. She was a member of St. John Catholic Church, the Altar and Rosary Society and the Infant Jesus of Prague Guild. Her husband Nicholas F. Stanfar whom she married on Sept. 24, 1946 passed away Nov. 23, 2005. She leaves to cherish her memory her daughter and son-in-law Gina and Michael Poullas of Hubbard and their sons Nicholas, Stephen and Christopher Poullas; grandchildren, Mandy Rosenberry of North Carolina, Petrina (Travis) Armstrong of Struthers and Nick Cervone of North Carolina; daughter, JoAnne (John) Maloney of New Middletown and four brothers, Ted, John, Gerald and Tom Mellenthin all of Chicago. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a daughter Lenora Cervone; a brother and a sister. In lieu of flowers the Stanfar family requests that monetary donations be made to Ohio Teen Challenge, P.O. Box 807, Youngstown, OH 44515 in Peggy?¢s name. The Stanfar family has entrusted their loved one to the care of the Wasko Funeral Home and will receive friends Saturday from 12 -2 pm.
