Campbell: Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 12:30 p.m. at the Wasko Funeral Home and a Mass of Christian Burial at 1:00 p.m. at Christ the Good Shepherd Parish at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church for Margaret J. Wayda, 83, who passed away Thursday morning, November 15, 2012, at Park Vista following a brief illness. Margaret was born December 13, 1928, in Youngstown, Ohio, the daughter of George and Mary Zolovick. She was a member of Christ the Good Shepherd Parish at St. John Catholic Church in Campbell and a lifelong area resident. Margaret, a graduate of Woodrow Wilson High School and cosmetology school, was a homemaker and a former waitress at the Strouss Grille in downtown Youngstown and later at Kauffmans Terrace Room at the Southern Park Mall. She enjoyed cooking, sewing, and visiting area casinos. She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Andrew, two daughters, Margaret (Philip) Ford of Campbell and Dr. Andrea Wayda (Dr. Patrick Jobe) of Westfield, NJ; two grandsons, Andrew Ford of Queens, NY and Daniel (Sara) Ford of Avon; and a great-granddaughter, Sabrina Colleen. She also leaves several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, George, John and Paul; and sisters, Anne and Mary. In lieu of flowers, memorial tributes can be made to the family to defray medical costs or to a charity of your choice in her name. The Wayda family has entrusted their loved one to the care of the Wasko Funeral Home and will receive friends Monday from 4-7:00 p.m. Interment will take place at St. John Catholic Cemetery.
