Obituary

YOUNGSTOWN – A prayer service will be held at 9:15AM on Tuesday, March 3, 2015 at the Kubina Yuhasz Wasko Funeral Home followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Sorrows Parish at Sts. Cyril and Methodius Church celebrated by Fr. Martin Celuch, for Margaret Vitkay, who passed away February 24, 2015. Margaret was born November 7, 1931 in Youngstown, a daughter of Paul and Catherine Kralik Vitkay. She graduated East High School in 1950. Margaret worked for General Electric as a coiler, retiring in 1993 after 41 years. She was a member of the Infant Jesus of Prague Guild, the Altar and Rosary Society and the Croatian Club. Her pastimes included spending time with family and friends, traveling, and shopping. She leaves behind to cherish her memories, her niece Jo Ann (David) Guyer of Poland, her nephew Edward (Louise) Udovich of Akron, great nieces Laura and Cheryl Guyer and great nephew Andrew Udovich. Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Mary Vitkay and Ann Udovich. The Vitkay family has entrusted their loved one to the care of the Kubina-Yuhasz-Wasko Funeral Home, where they will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM on Monday, March 2, 2015 Burial will take place at Calvary Cemetery.
