Youngstown: A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday at 11:30 a.m. at St. Christine Catholic Church for Margaret M. Santisi, 89, who passed away early Monday morning. Margaret was born June 1, 1923 in Youngstown, the daughter of Michael and Teresa Evanusich Sedmak. She was a member of St. Christine Parish. Margaret was a business partner in Mahoning Sparkle Markets with her brothers?¢ in-law, Tony and Don Santisi. Margaret leaves to cherish her memory, her children, Patricia (Bill Steere) Zizzo, Frank (Joyce) Santisi, Diane (Michael) Piesto, Loretta Santisi, Michael (Kathy Jo) Santisi and Richard Santisi; 18 grandchildren, P.J. and Frank (Lynn) Guerrieri, Jonathan, Stefanie and Jack Zizzo, Frankie, Jenna and Joey Santisi, Jaci and Michael Piesto, Anna, Sal, and Sophia Santisi and Renee, Vinny, Jason, Michael and Nina Santisi; two great grandchildren, Gia Mary Jo and Angelo Guerrieri; a brother, George Sedmak; and a sister Helen Urichich. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Frank (Sal) Santisi whom she married in 1947 and whom passed away in 1971; her daughter, Mary Margaret, who passed away in December, 2005; her brothers, Tom Blazek, Michael, Walter and Paul Sedmak and her sisters, Kate Rago and Ann Camardo. The Santisi family has entrusted their loved one to the care of the Wasko Funeral Home and will receive friends Wednesday from 5-8:00 p.m. Funeral services will not be held at the funeral home Thursday morning, but family and friends are invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 a.m. at St. Christine Church.
