Margaret Horvath, 80 Campbell……..Funeral services will be held 9:30am Thursday at the Wasko Funeral Home and 10am at Christ the Good Shepherd Parish at St. John Catholic Church for Margaret Horvath, 80, who passed away Sunday afternoon, Margaret was born, February 27, 1934 in Campbell, the daughter of John and Ann Judin Maro and was a life long area resident. She was a 1952 graduate of Campbell Memorial High School. Besides being a homemaker, Margaret operated a Beauty Shop out of her home. She was a member of the church; and the First Catholic Slovak Ladies Association, where she was a past president of Local Branch 501. She enjoyed Traveling and spending time with her grandchildren. Her husband John N. Horvath whom she married Nov. 26, 1952, passed away Dec. 30, 2006. She leaves to cherish her memory two sons, John J. (Pam) Horvath of Poland and Nick Horvath of Campbell; and grandchildren, Nicole, Brett, Ignatius, Johna and Scarlet. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband John; a daughter, Margie Horvath; one sister, Ann Slanina; and four brothers, Joe, Mike, Steve and Father John Maro. The Horvath family has entrusted their loved one to the care of the Wasko Funeral Home and will receive friends on Wednesday evening from 5 to 7pm.
