Margaret E. Datko, 85 Rock Hill, SC…………..Funeral services will be held at 9:30am Tuesday at the Wasko Funeral Home and 10am at Christ the Good Shepherd Parish at St. John Catholic Church for Margaret E. Datko, 85, who passed away Wednesday morning in Wayne T. Patrick Hospice House in Rock Hill, SC. Margaret was born Dec. 24, 1928 in Campbell, the daughter of Jacob and Mary Zajac Stefanik. She was a 1945 graduate of Campbell Memorial High School; and retired as a Auditor after 40 years of service from RGIS and Kroger Co. Margaret's favorite pass time was to watch Polka Fest on RFD network. Her husband, Frank A. Datko, whom she married Sept. 11, 1948, passed away Jan. 2, 1998. She leaves to cherish her memory her children, David of Rock Hill, SC, with whom she made her home and twins, Robert (Suzanne) of Fort Mill, SC and Gina (Larry) Guerra of Niles; grandchildren, Amanda, Allison, Laura, Christopher and Heather; and two great-grandchildren, Alaina and Elliot. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Frank; sisters, Mary and Sophie; and brothers, Jack and Steve. The Datko family has entrusted their loved one to the care of the Wasko Funeral Home and will receive family and friends on Monday evening from 4 to 7pm.
