YOUNGSTOWN – Calling hours will be held Monday, January 26, 2015 from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 1:00 p.m. at St. Mary's Byzantine Catholic Church celebrated by Father Edward Lucas, for Margaret Buday, 94, who passed away January 21, 2015.
Margaret was born April 8, 1920 in McDonald, Ohio, a daughter of the late Joseph and Anna Decha Krupa. She was raised in Youngstown and spent many years in Patton, PA.
She was a former member of St. Nicholas Byzantine Catholic Church in Youngstown and was a former member of Sts. Peter & Paul's in Patton.
She will be sadly missed by her children, Joseph Robert Pisansky, Margaret E. Whinnie, Jo-Ann (Dr. Steve) Cunning, Carol (Brian) Barnes, and Matt Buday; her grandchildren, Nicole Carnicella-Novitsky and her husband, Tom Novitsky, Stephen (Loren) Cunning, Juli-Ann Cunning, Eddie (Suzanne) Taylor; and her great grandchildren, Grace, Ella & TJ Novitsky, Lucy Cunning and Samuel, Amy, Erin, & Kelly Taylor; and three special nieces Sandy, Peggy, and Patti, and their families.
Other than her parents, Margaret was preceded in death by a sister Dorothy O'Hara, daughter-in-law Cindy Pisansky, and son-in-law Paul Whinnie.
The Buday family has entrusted their loved one to the care of the Kubina-Yuhasz-Wasko Funeral Home.
Burial will take place at Calvary Cemetery.
