Poland: Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. at Archangel Michael Greek Orthodox Church in Campbell for Manuel M. Kasaris, (Koutsourais), 69, who passed away Thursday morning at Hospice House.
Manuel was born July 18, 1943 in Campbell, the son of Michael and Evdoxia Kasaris Koutsourais. He was a 1961 graduate of Campbell Memorial High School and later attended Youngstown State University.
Manuel served our country in the US Air Force from 1964 to 1968. He was stationed in Germany. He went on to work at Youngstown Sheet and Tube Company. He was employed at Switka Mobile and Convenience Store and the Northside merchants, working in the Lottery department.
Manuel was a member of Archangel Michael Greek Orthodox Church and the American Legion Post in Campbell.
He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, the former Patricia Logan, whom he married December 18, 1987 and Patricia?¢s five children, who he helped raise, Atty. Daniel (Susan) Kasaris of North Royalton, Pastor Tom (Wendy) Rydarowicz of Wadsworth, Atty. John (Kelly) Patrick of North Olmstead, Dr. Julie (Chuck) Stancliff of Baltimore, MD and Paul (Jeanette) Logan of Austintown; his 13 grandchildren, Demi, Melanie, Danielle, Alyssa, Autumn, Adam, Brayden, Kyla, Emily, Hayes, Bryan, Hannah and Hailey; a brother, John ââ?¬Å?Jay쳌 (Leah) Koutsourais of Campbell and two sisters Irene (Richard) Moylan of Campbell and Mary (Paul Trepaniec) Carano of Glendale, AZ.
Manuel was preceded in death by his parents, an infant sister Irene; a brother, Charles Koutsourais; and sisters Helen Kotsol and Annie Moore.
The Kasaris family has entrusted their loved one to the care of the Wasko Funeral Home and will receive friends Monday from 5-8:00 p.m. at the funeral home and again on Tuesday morning from 9-10:00 a.m. at Church.
