Madeline A. "Mickey" Tatarka, 72 Austintown …………..Funeral services will be held at 11am Friday at the Wasko Funeral Home in Campbell, with Fr. Michael Swierz officiating for, Madeline A."Mickey" Tatarka, 72, who passed away Tuesday afternoon in St. Elizabeth Health Center. Madeline was born, Nov. 25, 1941 in Youngstown, the daughter of James and Anna DeLuca DuPonty. She was a 1959 graduate of Campbell Memorial High School and was a Retail Clerk at various local furniture stores throughout the years. She was a member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Church. Madeline devoted her life to raising her grandson and enjoyed her pets. She leaves to cherish her memory a son, Mark Tatarka and a daughter, Rochelle Tatarka; and her grandson, Chad Tatarka all of Austintown; a sister, Mary (Art) Roznoy of Boardman; two brothers, Tony (Doris) DuPonty of Poland and James (Jean) DuPonty of Florida; two beloved dogs; and besides her niece Shirley Johnson, she leaves many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; and a brother George DuPonty. In lieu of flowers and should friends desire, monetary donations may be made to the funeral home to help defray funeral expenses. The Tatarka family has entrusted their loved one to the care of the Wasko Funeral Home in Campbell and will receive family and friends on Friday morning from 10 to 11am.
