Obituary

Salem: Louis J. ââ?¬Å?Taz쳌 Fata, 47 of Salem and formerly of Campbell, passed away peacefully Wednesday morning in his home, after a two and a half year illness, with his loving family by his side. Louie was born Jan. 4, 1964 in Youngstown the son of Paul and Joann Wydick Fata. He was a 1982 graduate of Campbell Memorial High School and a 2004 graduate of The New Castle School of Trades in Heating and Air Conditioning where he graduated at the top of his class. Not only did he work in the Heating and Air Conditioning Field he was also employed by Kenan Advantage Group as a truck driver. He was a member of the Italian American Club in Salem. Louie?¢s life was focused around his family; he was an avid outdoorsman who loved to hunt and was an all around handyman. He truly enjoyed celebrating the Fourth of July in ââ?¬Å?Louie Fashion쳌; ever a jokester and always there for a good laugh. He loved just being with his family, however he was most proud of being a father to Alisha and Brez. Louie leaves to cherish his memory his parents, Paul and Joann of Campbell; his daughter Alisha of Salem and son Brez of Florida; one brother Paul of Nashville, Tennessee; two sisters, Paula and Dan McElroy of Pittsburgh and Tracy and Mark Rivera of Campbell; his nephew and godson, Marcus Rivera and two nieces Samantha and Marissa Rivera all of Campbell; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and dear friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Louis and Lena Fata and John and Barbara Wydick. The family requests that monetary donations be made to the Hospice House in Louie?¢s name. The Fata family has lovingly donated Louie?¢s body for science research and are inviting all family and friends to join them in a Memory Mass, Saturday at 1:00pm in St. John Catholic Church, 159 Reed Ave., in Campbell. The Fata family has entrusted the arrangements of their loved one to the care of the Wasko Funeral Home. .
