Obituary

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday at 5:00 p.m. at St. Rose Catholic Church in Girard, officiated by her nephew, Monsignor John Zuraw, for Suzanna M. Zuraw, 93, who passed away early Wednesday evening.

Suzanna was born November 21, 1923, in Campbell, the daughter of Andrew and Mary Malek Zuraw.

She was a 1941 graduate of Campbell Memorial High School.

Suzanna was employed for many years by Youngstown Sheet and Tube, where she worked as an office clerk.

She was a parishioner of Christ the Good Shepherd Parish, where she served as a past President of the Infant of Prague Guild.  She was a choir member and a pierogi worker.

Suzanna leaves to cherish her memory, her sister-in-law, Jean Zuraw; her nieces, Patty Blake, Geri Misik, JoAnn Miller and Felicia Zura; her nephews, Leo (Barbara) Zura, Rudy (Shirley) Zura, Robert (Donna) Zura, Msgr. John Zuraw, and Michael (Kim) Zuraw; and many grand-nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents; she was preceded in death by her sister, Rose (Charles) Minarovic, and her brothers, Michael (Bernice) Zuraw, Leo (Stephanie) Zura, Ralph (Antionette) Zura, John Zuraw; and her infant brothers, John and August.

The family is grateful for the loving care provided by Liberty Health Care Center.

The Zuraw family has entrusted their loved one to the care of the Wasko Funeral Home and will receive family and friends Monday from 4-5:00 p.m. at St. Rose Catholic Church in Girard.
