YOUNGSTOWN – A graveside service was held at St. Nicholas Byzantine Cemetery on Saturday for Marian D. Kiktavy, 90, who passed away April 9, 2015 surrounded by her family.
Marian was born January 1, 1925 in Youngstown, a daughter of John and Mary Dziechowski.
She worked for Mazda Lamp during the war, but was primarily a homemaker for her family. She was a member of St. Nicholas Byzantine Catholic Church.
Marian leaves behind to cherish her memories, her children, Andrea (Robert) Bozick, Steve (Diane) Kiktavy, Michael (Jamie Ellwood) Kiktavy, Susie K. Feldman, John (Debi Dreas) Kiktavy; her grandchildren, Alison (John) Bartko, Robert Bozick Jr., Alissa, Lindsay, Ashley, and Jeremy Kiktavy; her great grandchildren, Abigal, Emily, and A.J. Bartko; also many nieces and nephews.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Andrew M. Kiktavy, her sisters, Helen Nitupski and Sr. Jane Marie Woods, and a niece, Irene Koval.
The Kiktavy family has entrusted their loved one to the care of the Kubina-Yuhasz-Wasko Funeral Home.
