Kathleen M.
Hall
Jul 4, 1942 — Aug 1, 2013
Kathleen M. Hall, 73 New Waterford…..Funeral services will be held 11am Tuesday at Infant Jesus of Prague Byzantine Catholic Church for Kathleen M. Hall, 73, who passed away Sat. Aug. 1st in St. Elizabeth Health Center. Kathleen was born July 4, 1942 in Youngstown, the daughter of Conrad and Margaret Kovach Straub. She was a 1960 graduate of Campbell Memorial High School. Then went on to receive a double Bachelors Degree and her Masters Degree in Education all from Youngstown State University. Kathleen was a teacher with the Beaver Local School District for the past 20 years. She was a very active member of the church and will be sadly missed by all her church family. She was a member of the Infant Jesus Couples Club and worked Bingo. Kathleen was a shining example of a "kind person". She was the ultimate school teacher and was always upbeat and positive. She was an amazing wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. From childhood into adulthood because Kathleen's birthday was on the 4th of July, she always thought the fireworks were for her only. She leaves to cherish her memory her husband, Edward, whom she married Feb. 22, 1986; 2 daughters, Kristine (Joe) Caporale of New Waterford and Kathleen (Jeff) Bohnsack of Seattle, Wash.; four grandchildren, Melanie, Michael, J.T. and Bridget; and brothers and sisters, Trudy (Gary) Carlisle of Canfield, Margie (Mike) Budd of Florida, Edward (Michele) Straub of Canfield, Liz McGarry of Boardman and John (Ruth) Straub of Poland. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother and sister-in-law, Connie and Dee Straub; and brother-in-law, Carmen J. McGarry. A special thank you from Kathleen's family to St. Elizabeth Hospital both Main and Boardman Campus's for the exemplary care given to her. The Hall family has entrusted their loved one to the care of the Wasko Funeral Home and will receive family and friends on Tuesday morning from 9:30 to 11am at Infant Jesus of Prague Byzantine Catholic Church.
