POLAND –A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, January 4, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Family Church with Monsignor William J. Connell officiating for Katherine T. Boback, 93, who passed away peacefully with her family by her side on January 1, 2014. Katherine was born January 30, 1920 in Youngstown, a daughter of Joseph and Catherine Illencik Krispinsky. She worked as a dental assistant for Dr. Kirby for 18 years until she married. She leaves to cherish her memories, her children, Frank Boback of Boardman, Mark (Suzanne) Boback of Poland, and Libby (Sam) Landry of Poland, her grandchildren, Anne and Erin Boback, Madeleine, Kate, Noah, and Tom Landry, and her brothers, George (Maxine) Krispinsky of Michigan, and Tony (Helen) Krispinsky of Austintown. Other than her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Frank Boback, whom she married September 8, 1958 and preceded her May 25, 1977, and brothers, Frank, Joseph, and Bernard Krispinsky. The Boback family will receive friends from 10:30 to 11:00 a.m. on Saturday at the church. They have entrusted the care of their loved one to the Kubina-Yuhasz-Wasko Funeral Home.
