Campbell…Funeral services will be held Friday at 9:30 a.m. at the Wasko Funeral Home and at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Apostles Parish at Sts. Peter and Paul Church for Justine "Jay Jay" Pacak, 83, who passed away Monday evening. "Jay Jay" was born May 18, 1929, in Campbell, the daughter of Steven and Teresa Kovac Jukich. She was a 1947 graduate of Campbell Memorial High School and a lifelong area resident. "Jay Jay" was a member of the Holy Apostles Parish at Sts. Peter and Paul Church, the President of the Altar and Rosary Society and a member of the Daughters of Sts. Peter and Paul. She attended church daily. She was a past President of the VFW Auxiliary and a member of the Croatian Fraternal Union. "Jay Jay" enjoyed ethnic music and dancing. She had many friends and was known for her sense of humor. She leaves to cherish her memories her son, Michael and daughter-in-law Barbara of Bellingham, Mass; a grandson, Alex of Bellingham; and a sister, Terry Gallagher of Youngstown. Her husband, Michael, whom she married November 1, 1950, passed away October 10, 1988. She was preceded in death by her parents, Steven and Teresa; her husband, Mike; a daughter, Monica; and her sisters, Ann George, Stephanie Spon and Kathryn Jukich. In lieu of flowers and should friends desire, donations may be made to Hospice of the Valley, 5190 Market Street, Youngstown, 44512 The Pacak family has entrusted their loved one to the care of the Wasko Funeral Home and will receive friends Thursday from 4-7:00 p.m.
