Obituary

Campbell: Funeral services will be held 9:30am Monday at the Wasko Funeral Home and 10am in Holy Trinity Church in Struthers for Julius S. Horvath, 92, who passed away Thursday morning. Julius was born July 1, 1919 in Campbell the son of Frank and Marie Kovach Horvath and was a life long area resident. He served his country in the U.S. Army as part of the Heavy Artillery Unit during WWII. Julius worked for Wonder Bread as a route driver, retiring in 1980 after 31 years of service. He was a member of the church, its Men?¢s Club, Muscle Club, Infant Jesus of Prague Guild and Leader of the Prayer group. He was an avid golfer and sports fan of the Cleveland Indians, Browns and the Ohio State Buckeyes. His wife the former Stella Hlebovy whom he married Jan. 9, 1943 passed away March 18, 1982. Julius will be greatly missed and his memory forever cherished by his three sons, Robert and Karen, Kenneth and Paula and Randy and Sharon; grandchildren Andrew (Colleen) Davis, Randy Horvath, Jr. and Lauren Horvath; great-grandchildren Cole and Mathew Davis and Sterling Sky Horvath and his long time companion Joan Lariccia. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; two brothers and three sisters. The Horvath family has entrusted their loved one to the care of the Wasko Funeral Home and will receive friends on Sunday afternoon from 2-4pm.
