Boardman: Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 8 p.m. at the Wasko Funeral Home for Juan (John) Acevedo, 58, who passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, June 20, 2012. Juan was born Nov. 23, 1953, in Youngstown, the son of Juan and Carmen Lebron Acevedo. He was a graduate of Campbell Memorial High School and a dedicated nutritional associate for over 20 years at St. Elizabeth Health Center. He leaves to cherish his memory, his mother, Carmen; his sons, Travis and Eliot Acevedo; his daughter, Camille Acevedo; brothers, Rafael and Angel Acevedo; sister, Maria Gonzalez; and his companion of 16 years, Diann Abraham. He was preceded in death by his father, Juan Acevedo and son, Brian Acevedo. The Acevedo family has entrusted their loved one to the care of the Wasko Funeral Home and will receive friends Tuesday, June 26, 2012, from 5 to 8 p.m. Funeral services will be held at the conclusion of the calling hours at 8 p.m., conducted by Pastor Bill Rotar. There will be a private family interment.
