He was born January 17, 1948, in Pittsburgh, the son of Peppino and Mary Casciato Mangiarelli. Joe was a 1965 graduate of Campbell Memorial High School. Prior to his retirement, he was the Art Teacher at St. Joseph the Provider School in Campbell for ten years. He took great pride in his work and students, especially the many who furthered their careers in Art. His artistic talents and achievements will never be forgotten. Joe was a Team Manager for the Campbell Girls Softball League for many years, coaching his daughters, Dina and Jani. He was an avid Minnesota Vikings and Pittsburgh Pirates fan. Joe especially enjoyed going to Campbell Red Devils games and was very proud to watch his grandson, Corey Hamilton play. He also enjoyed the "oldies" music and was a great pro wrestling fan. Joe previously served on the Campbell City Fest Committee, was a member of the Mahoning Valley Italian Society, and the 1418 Seniors' Auxiliary. He will be sadly missed by his wife, the former Vicki Thompson, whom he married, April 12, 1972; his daughters, Dina (Gerald) Hamilton of Campbell, and Jani (Brant) Newton of Boardman; his grandchildren, Corey and Dominique Hamilton; three sisters, Sandra Redeske of Campbell, Mary Ann Kessler (Guenther) Hladiuk, and Loretta (Ralph) Nunez of North Potomac, Md.; several nieces and nephews; and his pets, Charlie and Coco.
