Campbell: Funeral services will be held 2:00pm Sunday in the Wasko Funeral Home with Father Gerald DeLucia officiating for Jose R. Carballo, 75 who passed away Thursday morning in Shepherd of the Valley Nursing Home. Jose was born September 1, 1934 in Caguas, Puerto Rico, the son of Francisco and Julia Diaz Carballo, and moved to Campbell in 1950. He was a Pipe Machine Operator for LTV Steel, retiring in 1983. He leaves to cherish his memory his wife the former Angeline Ramos, whom he married on May 12, 1955; a daughter, Linda (Brian) Carder of Stow; a son Michael Carballo of Campbell; two sisters, Conchita and Carmen both of Florida; two grandchildren, Marilyn Deisner and John (Jolene) Hostal and one great-grandson, Nathan Deisner. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Mike Carballo. The Carballo family has entrusted their loved one to the care of the Wasko Funeral Home and will receive friends Sunday from 1-2pm.
