Lowellville: A memorial mass will be held 11am Friday at St. Joseph the Provider Church in Campbell with Fr. Shawn Conoboy officiating for John Yagich, 81 who passed away Sunday morning. John was born May 10, 1930 in Johnstown, Pa. the son of Vincent and Mary Pispek Yagich. He was a 1949 graduate of Johnstown High School and served his country in the U.S. Army and the Army Reserves from 1951 to 1957. He retired after 28 years as a brick layer with the Youngstown Sheet and Tube Co. and LTV Steel. He was a member of the church. John leaves to cherish his memory his wife, the former Delores R. Kolson whom he married June 7, 1958; one daughter Doreen of Largo, Florida; two sons John of Struthers and David (Kathy) of Las Vegas, NV; two grandsons Travis and Dallas; step-grandson Shawn; step-granddaughter Victoria; step-great-grandchildren Torrance and Zachary and one sister Ann (Pete) Duca of Campbell. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers Joseph and Vincent. The Yagich family has entrusted the arrangements of their loved one to the Wasko Funeral Home in Campbell.
