Biography

John Patsey, 84 CAMPBELL - A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday at     10 a.m. at the Christ the Good Shepherd Parish at St. Lucy Catholic Church, with the Rev. Michael Swierz officiating for John Patsey, 84, who passed away Tuesday. John was born Jan. 23, 1932, in Campbell, the son of Angelo and Fannie Paris Pasquale. He worked as a pipe cutter for LTV Steel, retiring in 1984 after 34 years of service. John was a member of the Christ the Good Shepherd Parish at St. Lucy Catholic Church. After his father passed away, he took care of his mother until her passing in 2004. He loved sports, especially football and baseball. He will be remembered as a person always willing to lend a helping hand to his family and friends. Above all, John enjoyed attending picnics and family outings, and cherished the time he spent with his nieces and nephews. John leaves to cherish his memories, his brother, Sam (Vivian) Pasquale of California; his sister, Gloria (John) Isabella of Poland; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; and his brother and sister-in-law, Ernest and Jeanette DePasquale. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the girls on the East Wing of Liberty Arms for the good care given to John. The Patsey family has entrusted their loved one to the care of the Wasko Funeral Home and will receive family and friends from 9:30 to 10 a.m. at the church, prior to the 10 a.m. funeral Mass.
